CommitteesJoining a committee is one of the best ways to contribute to FACRAO. There are countless opportunities to serve even if you have very little time to volunteer. Our goal is to involve as many members as possible in the day-to-day operations of the association. Without you, there is no FACRAO! We group the committees into three general categories: Constitutional Committees, Standing Committees and Executive Committee. Constitutional CommitteesConstitutional Committees are usually comprised of former Executive Committee members and their membership is pre-determined by the succession of executive positions. Standing CommitteesStanding Committees are those made up of volunteers and are the best place to start getting involved in FACRAO. Activities of these committees range from planning annual meetings and workshops to recruiting new members. Members can join these committees freely and are appointed by an executive committee member. Executive CommitteeThe Executive Committee members are the officers of the association and are elected by the membership at the annual meeting. You don't have to be a seasoned veteran to join the executive committee. What is required is a strong desire to lead your organization and serve your colleagues across the state. |
