FISEM Sessions

Advanced Track Sessions

Faculty, drawn from distinguished enrollment managers from the state of Florida and around the country, focus on universal issues of enrollment management practices for admission, registrar, retention and related-office professionals. Advance track sessions address issues of production, goals, outcomes, quality, standards, accountability, conversions, yields, budgets, personnel and headcount. For promising new professionals, focusing on these SEM essentials also enhances career path awareness.

The Institute begins with an Introduction to SEM presentation and is followed by dedicated advance track sessions that are delivered by veteran professionals and industry consultants.

The Introduction to SEM session (offered each year) provides an overview of SEM including its mission definition, institutional culture, trends, and future implications. Participants will be guided to the value of having a SEM Plan and supportive relationships that nurture this culture on your campus. Returning participants will attend a special cohort discussion class session during this same time slot.

The purpose of this session is to provide broader network exposure and avenues to national trends and expertise beyond FACRAO. Attendees benefit from learning about resources available in implementing SEM plans from consultants or in-service practitioners who are respected within the industry.
