Our dynamic speakers will discuss ways to support super achievers, the impacts of organizational constraints, how to create opportunities for growth, and ways you can incorporate gratitude not only with your staff, but personally. Read up on our speakers below!

  • Andrew Alcorn is a senior admissions counselor for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Worldwide. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Health and Sports Studies from Miami University of Ohio. He is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Project Management from Embry-Riddle Worldwide. He grew up in Camden, OH, and now resides in Daytona Beach, FL. He takes pride in helping students reach their educational goals and pursuing their life-long dreams.
  • Angela Brill joined the Embry-Riddle admissions team in 2014 and has been in her role as associate director since 2019. Angela has worked in various capacities with Embry-Riddle over the past 25 years. She earned her Bachelor of Technical Management degree from ERAU and is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Leadership. She enjoys helping students to accomplish their educational goals. In her free time, Angela enjoys working out, the beach, and traveling with her family.
  • Jessica Cheatwood-Alvarez serves as the Director of Academic Services, Progress and Graduation in the College of Graduate Studies at the University of Central Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Zoology at Ohio Wesleyan University and Master of Arts in Higher Education/College Student Personnel at Ohio University. Jessica has served on the FACRAO Executive Committee as the VP for Professional Development since June 2017 and brings over 20 years of experience from a variety of colleges and universities in areas ranging from residential life, leadership development, academic advising and graduate school administration. Her diverse background in higher education administration, creative energy, and passion for professionals to find balance and wellness in our highly demanding field provides the inspiration for her presentations and workshops.
  • Lauren Locklear is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Central Florida and is expected to graduate in spring of 2021. Her research focuses on interpersonal relationships, emotions, workplace mistreatment, and workplace norms. Specifically, Lauren researches the role of gratitude and appreciation in interpersonal relationships at work and has published her work in Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, and Journal of Vocational Behavior.
