Proposed Constitution and Bylaw Changes
FACRAO is proposing changes to the Constitution and Bylaws to reflect updates to the composition of the Executive Committee. These changes will be voted on during the annual business meeting on Tuesday, June 5th during the Annual FACRAO conference. Please visit the Summit Web Site and click on the Program tab. 4th Annual Florida Higher Education Summit - RegistrationWe are pleased to announce that registration is now available for the 4th Annual Florida Higher Education Summit, June 3-7, 2012 at the Renaissance World Golf Village Resort in St. Augustine. Once again we will be combining our conference with the FCRAO group and the SUS Data work shop. Please visit the Summit Web Site for full details and registration. 4th Annual Florida Higher Education Summit - Call for PresentersFACRAO is calling for presentations for the 2012 Higher Education Summit and we are seeking your presentation proposals and ideas about emerging topics that will engage and challenge our assembly. Presentations can be general to appeal to all attendees or be specific to admissions, registration, public four-year, public two-year, private institutions and graduate schools. Sessions are scheduled for one hour and are listed in the program as FACRAO Concurrent sessions. Please contact me with your presentation proposals by email hkicklit@usfsp.edu and I will forward a registration form. Similarly, for presentations specific to graduate and professional schools, please email Barbara Rodriguez at barbara@ucf.edu. In addition to presenters we are seeking session moderators and other volunteers for the Summit. If you are able to volunteer as a session moderator, please contact me for details. New Membership and Administration PortalFACRAO has developed a new member portal on our website! Just click the Member Login / Pay Annual Dues link located at the top right corner above. This portal will enable the EC to better communicate with our members, allow institutions to keep track of their yearly dues and allow for easier updates for institutional representatives. Individual representatives can update their own information while representatives designated as Institutional Administrators can easily manage their institution's representatives' names and contact information. 2011-2012 Annual Dues InvoicesThe Executive Committee will be sending out the 2011-2012 annual dues invoices soon. Although invoicing usually occurs earlier, the EC wanted to wait until our new portal was operational to allow for two payment options, online with a credit card or by mail. Please make this payment as soon as possible after you receive the invoice as the annual dues are critical for the well-being of the association. |
