Submit a Poster Session for SACRAO 2014
The Professional Development Committee of SACRAO is pleased to announce poster sessions at the 2014 Raleigh conference for research at the undergraduate, Masters or Doctoral level. Research should be specifically related to the mission of SACRAO as it identifies and promotes standards and best practices affecting admission officers, registrars, and other academic support and student-service professionals. Of particular interest is research related to higher education administration and college student personnel services.
A poster session is a graphic presentation of authors' research. The authors illustrate their findings by displaying graphs, photos, diagrams and a small amount of text on the poster boards.
SACRAO 2014 will be held in Raleigh, NC February 16-19. There will be an official one hour poster session and an additional opportunity will be available for set-up prior to the Town Hall or Business meeting on Monday, February 17, 2014, where large volumes of participants will be gathered in one space. Authors will hold discussions with the conference registrants who are circulating among the poster boards.
The link for submitting a proposal for a poster session can be found below. The deadline for submission is December 6, 2013. Presenters do not have to be members of SACRAO to present their paper at the conference, but presenters are required to pay their own transportation and hotel costs.
Additional questions can be addressed to Barbara Rowe, VP for Professional Development at firstname.lastname@example.org.
New Membership and Administration Portal
FACRAO has developed a new member portal on our website! Just click the Member Login / Pay Annual Dues link located at the top right corner above. This portal will enable the EC to better communicate with our members, allow institutions to keep track of their yearly dues and allow for easier updates for institutional representatives. Individual representatives can update their own information while representatives designated as Institutional Administrators can easily manage their institution's representatives' names and contact information.
