Proposed Changes to the FACRAO Constitution and Bylaws

The FACRAO Executive Committee is recommending the following changes to the Bylaws and Constitution:

  1. Change in title from Vice president for Professional and Graduate Schools to Vice President for Emerging and Specialized programs. This change will better reflect the role for this position.
  2. Addition of a new elected position, Treasurer-elect. This will allow for an additional member of the committee and much needed assistance for the Treasurer.

These proposals will be voted on during the Annual Business Meeting at the FACRAO Conference in June. For further information you may contact any of the EC Members.

5th Annual Florida Higher Education Summit

Your FACRAO Executive Committee and the Summit Planning Committee are currently working on the 5th Annual Florida Higher Education Summit! We are excited to be returning to the Renaissance World Golf Village Resort in St. Augustine from June 1-6, 2013. For more information, visit our Annual Meeting page.

5th Annual Florida Higher Education Summit Call for Presenters

FACRAO is calling for presentations for the 2013 Higher Education Summit and we are seeking your presentation proposals and ideas about emerging topics that will engage and challenge our assembly this year.

Presentations can be general to appeal to all attendees or be specific to admissions, registration, public four-year, public two-year or private institutions. We also are seeking proposals for emerging or specialized programs such as those with a professional or graduate focus. Sessions are scheduled for one hour and are listed in the preliminary program as FACRAO Concurrent sessions. Please complete the Presentation Proposal for consideration and submit by email to: hkicklit@usfsp.edu or Barbara@ucf.edu.

New Membership and Administration Portal

FACRAO has developed a new member portal on our website! Just click the Member Login / Pay Annual Dues link located at the top right corner above. This portal will enable the EC to better communicate with our members, allow institutions to keep track of their yearly dues and allow for easier updates for institutional representatives. Individual representatives can update their own information while representatives designated as Institutional Administrators can easily manage their institution's representatives' names and contact information.

2012-2013 Annual Dues Invoices

The Executive Committee has sent out the 2012-2013 annual dues invoices. Please make this payment as soon as possible after you receive the invoice as the annual dues are critical for the well-being of the association.
